Close the book, put it down, and walk away. Realize that book wasn’t worth reading and there is a better book waiting for you.

When you “turn the page” (to me) means start a new day fresh and forgive (clean slate) whereas to “close the book” is just what I had to do with a person I knew for 20+ years and thought was my friend. He lied, cheated, etc…so I finally quit “turning the page” and “closed the book” forever. He is no longer in my life and never will be again. ~ Unknown
